Greece

Greece is a country in Southeastern Europe and is regarded as the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy, drama (tragedy and comedy), the Olympic games and major scientific and mathematical theories as we know today. It is a member of the European Union, a large organization of many European states. As a result of the intelligence of its citizens, the country now serves as the regional business hub for many multinational companies around the world. The service industry is the main contributing sector to the Greek economy. The Filipino population in Greece has now reached 40,000, 90% of whom are women and 95% are employed as housekeepers working in the houses of rich families. Moreover, there is also a Filipino migrant community in Greece called “Kasapi-Hellas”, which makes Greece a truly wonderful place to live and work in.
